About me

Nick sees adults with ADHD and autism and has expertise in LGBT mental health. He has extensive experience in assessing and managing mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, especially when they are associated with neurodiversity. Nick has a special interest in the medical conditions associated with neurodiversity such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, POTS, migraine and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes. He has expertise in medically unexplained symptoms, functional disorders and somatic symptom disorders. Nick has a particular interest in holistic care. He looks at the whole person and is able to advise on a range of treatments, including medication, psychological therapy, physical health and lifestyle interventions, as well as practices such as yoga, meditation or mindfulness. His approach is to work alongside his patients to help them identify their key difficulties and goals, and then develop a tailored and bespoke plan to help them recover and move forward in their lives. Nick studied medicine at the University of Manchester, including a 1-year BSc (Hons) in History of Medicine. He did his Foundation training and then started psychiatry training in Manchester. He relocated to London and continued training on the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s training scheme. In 2014, he became a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, with a sub-speciality endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. After 7 years as a Consultant in East London, Nick left the NHS in 2021. Nick sees patients at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street (London), Priory Hospital Hayes Grove (London) and remotely.
